For the Cajun Steak:
- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, sliced into strips
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Pasta:
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Pasta – Boil pasta, drain, and set aside.
- Season Steak – Toss steak with Cajun spices, salt, and pepper.
- Cook Steak – Sear in hot skillet with oil until done, then remove.
- Make Sauce – In same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream.
- Add Cheese – Stir in Parmesan, pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer to thicken.
- Combine & Serve – Toss pasta in sauce, top with steak, and garnish.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne pepper for spice preference.
- Use ribeye for richer flavor or sirloin for leaner option.
- Can substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a saltier kick.
- Best served fresh, but leftovers keep well for 1–2 days refrigerated.
