- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 large eggs
- 1½ cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Optional add-ins: diced bell peppers, spinach, green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook halal sausage until browned and fully cooked.
- Spread cooked sausage evenly in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheese and any optional vegetables.
- Pour egg mixture over sausage in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
