- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl combine peaches, raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice; let sit 10 minutes.
- In another bowl whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until just combined.
- Grease a baking dish, pour fruit mixture in, and spoon batter over fruit.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving; enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- For a richer crust
- brush the top with melted butter during the last five minutes of baking. Let the cobbler rest five minutes after removing from oven to allow the sauce to thicken.
