- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella (halal-certified)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan (halal-certified)
- Fresh basil or parsley for topping
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in marinara sauce and broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook 10–12 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
- Serve hot topped with ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and fresh herbs.
