- 12 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 5 slices halal turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: diced pickles, chopped parsley, burger-style sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella until smooth.
- Combine cooked pasta, cheese sauce, beef, and turkey bacon.
- Transfer to baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Rest 5 minutes before serving. Add optional toppings if desired.
