- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken with spices, salt, and pepper.
- Sear chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- In same skillet, melt butter and deglaze with chicken broth.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
- Add cheddar cheese and let it melt.
- Garnish with parsley and optional green onions. Serve warm.
