Description

Teriyaki Chicken Wrap: A quick, sweet and savory Japanese-inspired wrap perfect for fast lunches or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded or sliced chicken
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup cooked rice (optional for extra filling)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 12 tbsp mayonnaise or spicy mayo (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the chicken in a skillet over medium heat. Pour the teriyaki sauce over it and cook 2–3 minutes until heated through and glossy.
  2. Warm tortillas for a few seconds on a skillet to make them flexible.
  3. Lay each tortilla flat and add a scoop of rice if using.
  4. Spoon teriyaki chicken on top.
  5. Add lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, and green onions.
  6. Drizzle with mayonnaise or spicy mayo if desired, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly into a wrap.
  8. Slice in half and enjoy warm or chilled.
