Stuffing Sausage Balls are a festive, cheesy holiday appetizer featuring seasoned stuffing, halal sausage, and cheddar cheese.

- 1 lb halal ground sausage or turkey sausage
- 2 cups prepared stuffing (cooled)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: cranberry sauce or gravy for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine halal sausage, stuffing, cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Scoop and roll the mixture into 1–1½-inch balls.
- Arrange on the baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly golden.
- Serve warm with cranberry sauce or gravy.
Notes
- Make-ahead: prepare the mixture and refrigerate up to 2 days before baking.
- For gluten-free option, ensure stuffing is gluten-free; use a gluten-free stuffing mix.
- To freeze, shape into balls and freeze on a sheet; transfer to a bag and bake from frozen, adding 5–7 minutes.
- If desired, substitute turkey sausage.
