Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet — a quick and delicious one-pan dinner featuring halal Italian sausage, pasta, and a glossy honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb halal Italian sausage, sliced or crumbled
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the halal Italian sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Mix in the honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, chili flakes, and paprika. Stir until combined and slightly thickened.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sticky honey garlic sauce.
  7. Taste and adjust salt and pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
