Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, julienned
  • 2 cups cooked noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Marinate steak and shrimp.
  • Cook noodles and set aside.
  • Stir-fry steak in hot oil, then remove.
  • Cook shrimp in the same pan and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic, ginger, and veggies.
  • Add sauces to the pan and simmer.
  • Combine steak, shrimp, and noodles. Toss and heat through.
  • Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes or chili paste.
  • Substitute chicken or tofu for the steak and shrimp.
  • For gluten-free options, use tamari and rice noodles.
