- 1 lb beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef pepperoni, sliced
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook beef and onion in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add beef pepperoni and sauerkraut; season with salt and pepper.
- Press crescent roll dough into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Spread beef mixture over dough and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake 25-30 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbly.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version
- add crushed red pepper flakes. Use smoked beef for extra depth. Leftovers reheat well in the oven.
