- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into 8 squares.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese filling in the center of each square.
- Fold corners slightly inward or create a border around the filling.
- Brush pastry edges with beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly and drizzle with optional glaze before serving.
