- 12–16 frozen halal chicken or vegetable potstickers
- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 1–2 tbsp soy sauce (halal)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cups chopped bok choy
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chili crisp, sesame seeds, cilantro
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Add the frozen potstickers and simmer 6–8 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
- Add bok choy and carrots, cooking another 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot and top with sliced green onions and optional garnishes.
Notes
- Use either chicken or vegetable halal potstickers for a halal-friendly option.
- For a gluten-free version, ensure soy sauce is gluten-free.
- Want more heat? Add a drizzle of chili crisp.
- Leftovers keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat gently.
