- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for a savory twist)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cook the halal turkey sausage in a skillet until browned, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pancake mix, milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked halal sausage evenly over the top.
- Add cheese if using.
- Pour the remaining batter over the sausage layer.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden and set in the center.
- Let cool slightly, then slice and serve with warm maple syrup or powdered sugar.
