Description

One Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a simple, weeknight-friendly skillet meal featuring juicy chicken and creamy, buttery noodles.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2½ cups chicken broth (halal)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed (about 8–10 minutes).
  5. Stir in butter until melted and noodles are coated.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the pan. Toss gently with the noodles.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and optional Parmesan. Serve hot.

  • Use olive oil for a lighter version or butter for richer flavor.
  • For extra creaminess, whisk in a splash of cream or milk at the end.
