Description
One Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a simple, weeknight-friendly skillet meal featuring juicy chicken and creamy, buttery noodles.

- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2½ cups chicken broth (halal)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed (about 8–10 minutes).
- Stir in butter until melted and noodles are coated.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the pan. Toss gently with the noodles.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and optional Parmesan. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use olive oil for a lighter version or butter for richer flavor.
- For extra creaminess, whisk in a splash of cream or milk at the end.
- Leftovers reheat well; store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- If noodles absorb liquid too quickly, add a splash more broth or water.
