- 2 cups cooked, shredded halal chicken
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add shredded chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
- Stir in both cheeses and cook until cheese begins to melt and mixture becomes gooey.
- Spoon the chicken mixture evenly into the center of each tortilla.
- Fold and wrap tightly like a burrito.
- Optional: Place wraps back on the skillet seam-side down for 1–2 minutes per side to crisp and seal.
- Slice in half and serve warm. Great with a side of dipping sauce or salad!
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of chili flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
- Can be made ahead: refrigerate the filling (without cheese) for up to 2 days and assemble when ready to serve.
- To keep wraps extra gooey, reserve a small amount of cheese to sprinkle on top after wrapping.
