A bold, cheesy, and hearty Tex-Mex dip packed with seasoned beef, refried beans, and gooey cheese—perfect for any party or potluck.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup water
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
16 oz can refried beans
1/2 cup salsa
4 oz can diced green chiles, drained
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Optional toppings: sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, chopped cilantro
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
Brown the ground beef, drain, and mix with taco seasoning and water.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, beans, salsa, green chiles, 1 cup cheese, and spices.
Fold in meat, spread in dish, top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly.
Garnish and serve with chips or veggies.
Notes
Use ground sausage for extra spice. Customize toppings to suit your crowd. Great for make-ahead and reheating leftovers.
