Description
A fun and calming under-the-sea mason jar aquarium craft for kids using water, glitter, and mini sea figurines.
Ingredients
1 mason jar with lid (pint or quart size)
1–2 drops blue food coloring or watercolor paint
1 cup filtered or distilled water (adjust as needed)
1–2 tsp glycerin (optional)
2–3 small plastic sea figurines
1–2 pieces of plastic aquarium plants
2 tbsp aquarium gravel or colored pebbles
1 pinch glitter or iridescent confetti (optional)
Hot glue gun (optional, for sealing lid)
Instructions
- 
Add 1 inch of gravel to the mason jar.

Place sea figurines and aquarium decor inside.
 - 
Mix colored water and glycerin (optional).
 - 
Pour mixture into jar, leaving 1 inch from the top.
 - 
Add glitter for shimmer.
 - 
Seal lid with glue (optional) and tighten.
 - 
Shake or display on a sunny shelf.
