- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil), drained and chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 oz penne pasta (or your favorite shape)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, then set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, then add chicken broth and simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked chicken and penne pasta, stirring to coat.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and crushed red pepper flakes.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the crushed red pepper flakes.
- You can use any pasta shape you like; penne works best for this creamy sauce.
