- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing evenly.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes. Remove from oven and gently press mini marshmallows onto the tops.
- Return to oven for 1–2 minutes until marshmallows are slightly melted.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.
Notes
- Tip: For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping.
- You can press extra marshmallows on top before the final bake for extra marshmallow tops.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
