Description

Hot Chocolate Cookies: Soft, fudgy cookies loaded with melty chocolate and fluffy marshmallows that taste like your favorite winter drink in cookie form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing evenly.
  8. Bake for 9–11 minutes. Remove from oven and gently press mini marshmallows onto the tops.
  9. Return to oven for 1–2 minutes until marshmallows are slightly melted.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.

Notes

  • Tip: For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping.
  • You can press extra marshmallows on top before the final bake for extra marshmallow tops.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
