Description

Honey-Glazed Corn Casserole is a creamy, comforting side dish with a golden honey glaze that bakes into a savory-sweet casserole.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) whole-kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup cornmeal or cornbread mix
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: extra honey drizzle, green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs, melted butter, and honey.
  3. Stir in whole corn, creamed corn, cornmeal (or cornbread mix), cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  6. Drizzle with a little extra honey if desired and garnish with green onions.
  7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.

  • For a deeper honey flavor, increase honey by 1 tablespoon.
