Description

Honey Garlic Sausage Sweet Potatoes: A quick, gluten-free one-pan dinner with juicy sausage, caramelized sweet potatoes, and a sticky honey garlic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb turkey or beef sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (use tamari for gluten-free)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add sausage, sweet potatoes, and red onion to a large mixing bowl. Pour the honey garlic mixture over and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread everything in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sweet potatoes are tender and caramelized.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!
