- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Arrange half of the sliced potatoes evenly in the baking dish.
- Spread the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk until smooth, then spread over the beef layer.
- Add remaining potato slices on top and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest before serving.
