Description

HIGH PROTEIN Pepperoni Pizza Rolls: a cheesy, protein-packed snack with halal pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella or pizza blend cheese
  • ¾ cup halal turkey or beef pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a dough forms. Knead lightly until smooth.
  3. Roll dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder over the sauce.
  6. Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into even rolls.
  7. Place rolls cut-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
