- 3 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 lb halal beef or chicken breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture into hash brown mixture and stir until evenly combined.
- Spoon mixture into muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly before removing from pan and serving.
Notes
- Can substitute any halal beef or chicken breakfast sausage.
- For gluten-free diets, ensure hash browns are certified gluten-free.
- To add extra color, stir in chopped green onions or bell peppers.
- These bites can be made ahead and reheated for quick mornings.
