Description

Hash Brown Sausage Bites: Crispy on the outside, fluffy and savory on the inside—these easy breakfast bites are perfect for grab-and-go mornings.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 lb halal beef or chicken breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour egg mixture into hash brown mixture and stir until evenly combined.
  5. Spoon mixture into muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. Let cool slightly before removing from pan and serving.

Notes

  • Can substitute any halal beef or chicken breakfast sausage.
  • For gluten-free diets, ensure hash browns are certified gluten-free.
  • To add extra color, stir in chopped green onions or bell peppers.
