Description
Garlic Steak Tortellini: a rich, ultra-creamy one-pan pasta loaded with tender steak bites, garlic, and pillowy tortellini.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt, or to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini, fresh or refrigerated
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan until melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Add the tortellini directly into the sauce. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and coated.
- Return the steak to the pan and let everything simmer together for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve warm and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Tip: if sauce thickens too much, add a splash of reserved pasta water or milk to loosen.
- Optional garnish: fresh parsley.
- Best served immediately for maximum creaminess.
