Description

Garlic Steak Tortellini: a rich, ultra-creamy one-pan pasta loaded with tender steak bites, garlic, and pillowy tortellini.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini, fresh or refrigerated
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the parmesan until melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  5. Add the tortellini directly into the sauce. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and coated.
  6. Return the steak to the pan and let everything simmer together for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Serve warm and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Tip: if sauce thickens too much, add a splash of reserved pasta water or milk to loosen.
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley.
