Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Boil tortellini until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • Sear steak bites in olive oil; season and cook until browned. Remove from pan.
  • Add butter and garlic to pan; sauté briefly.
  • Stir in cream, pesto, and Parmesan to create Alfredo sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  • Toss cooked tortellini in the sauce. Return steak to pan.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
