- 1 lb halal ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
- 6 large flour tortillas
- Garlic butter:
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook halal ground beef and onion until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheese until melted.
- Lay out the tortillas, add a scoop of the beef mixture, and roll tightly.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Mix the garlic butter ingredients and brush generously over each rollup.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and slightly crisp.
- Serve warm with ketchup, ranch, or burger sauce.
Notes
- Use 80/20 ground beef for juicier rollups.
- Substitute a mix of cheddar and mozzarella for extra meltability.
- For extra zing, add a pinch of chili flakes to the beef mixture.
- These rollups freeze well; reheat in the oven until warmed through.
