Description

Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is a crispy, buttery garlic bread enveloping gooey melted cheese for a quick 15-minute comfort lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices thick bread
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Optional add-ins: sliced tomato or fresh basil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place bread butter-side down in the pan.
  4. Sprinkle cheese evenly over two slices, then top with remaining bread, butter-side up.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove from pan, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • The cheese can be mozzarella or cheddar, or a mix for a blend of melt and flavor.
  • Optional add-ins like sliced tomato or fresh basil brighten the sandwich.
  • Keep the heat medium to avoid burning the bread before the cheese melts.
