Description
Frozen Banana Snickers: a creamy no-bake vegan treat featuring frozen banana, peanut butter, peanuts, and a dairy-free chocolate shell.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe bananas
- ½ cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 2–3 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup chopped peanuts
- 1½ cups dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Slice each banana lengthwise, then cut each half into 2–3 chunks depending on desired size.
- Mix peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth.
- Spread a small amount of the peanut butter mixture on each banana piece and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Melt dairy-free chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip the frozen banana pieces into the melted chocolate, coating fully. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze again for 1–2 hours until completely set.
- Keep stored in the freezer and thaw a minute before eating.
Notes
- For a richer chocolate shell, dip once and let set, then re-dip for extra thickness.
- Use almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a different flavor profile or nut-free option.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer to prevent freezer burn.
- Great for hot days or as an easy, dairy-free dessert bite.
