Ingredients

  • Lemon glaze:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in buttermilk and lemon zest until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in blueberries.
  6. Turn dough onto a floured surface and pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
  7. Cut into 8 biscuits and place on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until tall and golden.
  9. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over slightly cooled biscuits.
