- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg

- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup melted butter or oil
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Crumb topping:
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cold butter
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until combined. Stir in melted butter, eggnog, and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- For crumb topping, mix flour and brown sugar, then cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in nutmeg.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing.
