Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Crumb topping:
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold butter
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until combined. Stir in melted butter, eggnog, and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  6. For crumb topping, mix flour and brown sugar, then cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in nutmeg.
  7. Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool before slicing.
