- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8–10 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup ricotta cheese (optional, for topping)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until meat is browned and onion is soft.
- Stir in marinara sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Ladle into bowls and top with a spoonful of ricotta, if using. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley and serve warm.
