  • 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 810 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until meat is browned and onion is soft.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Add broken lasagna noodles and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Ladle into bowls and top with a spoonful of ricotta, if using. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley and serve warm.
