Ingredients

  • 1 box halal-friendly stuffing mix (about 6 oz)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt
  • ½ cup milk or chicken broth
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk (or broth), salt, and pepper.
  3. Add shredded chicken and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions, using olive oil or melted butter and hot water.
  6. Spoon stuffing evenly over the chicken mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top if using.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
