Description
Make vibrant DIY glass bead suncatchers to brighten your windows with color and creativity using just a few simple materials.
Ingredients
- 1 clear glass baking dish (muffin tin or pie plate)
- 1–2 cups assorted translucent glass beads (flat-backed or round)
- Non-stick spray or parchment paper
- Optional: metal cookie cutters
- Optional: drill with small bit
- Fishing line, ribbon, or twine for hanging
Instructions
Lightly grease your baking dish or line with parchment. Arrange glass beads in a single layer or inside cookie cutters. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–30 minutes until fully melted. Cool completely before removing. Drill a hole if desired and hang with ribbon or twine.
Notes
Use only glass beads—not plastic. Place your pan on a foil-lined baking sheet for easy cleanup. Ventilate the room well when baking. Cookie cutters can help shape the melted beads. Always let cool before handling.
