Crunchy Crispy Air Fryer Chicken and Mozzarella Wraps are a fast, family-friendly meal featuring crispy chicken and melty mozzarella tucked into a warm tortilla.

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes or panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
- Optional: lettuce, tomatoes, or yogurt-based sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the egg.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken strips into egg, then coat well with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket, spray lightly with oil, and air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and cooked through.
- Warm tortillas slightly, then add crispy chicken and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Fold wraps and return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts and wraps are lightly crisped.
- Serve warm with optional fresh toppings or sauce.
Notes
- You can substitute cornflakes with gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
- For a lighter option, use part-skim mozzarella.
- Add lettuce or tomatoes for extra crunch and freshness.
