Crockpot Hamburger Potato Casserole is a warm, hearty, and comforting slow cooker favorite featuring tender potatoes, seasoned ground beef, and melty cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Lightly grease the crockpot and layer half of the sliced potatoes on the bottom.
- Add half of the cooked ground beef and half of the chopped onion.
- Sprinkle with half of the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread half of the cream of mushroom soup and sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, beef, onion, seasonings, soup, and cheese.
- Pour milk evenly over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Grease the crockpot well to prevent sticking.
- Feel free to add a pinch more cheese on top in the last 15 minutes of cooking for extra melty goodness.
- Leftovers reheat well; store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
