Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for slurry)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until sauce thickens.
- Transfer cooked salmon bites to a bowl, pour sauce over, and gently toss to coat.
- Serve hot with rice, steamed vegetables, or salad.
Notes
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for best crispiness.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even browning.
- The sauce thickens quickly once the slurry is added; keep an eye on it to reach the desired glaze.
- Pair with rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
