- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
- Wooden skewers or metal skewers; if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 10 minutes before using
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes if using wooden skewers.
- In a bowl, toss chicken chunks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add Parmesan cheese and mix until evenly coated.
- Thread seasoned chicken onto skewers.
- Place skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers for 10 minutes before cooking to prevent burning.
- Cook in a single layer for even browning.
- Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) for safety.
- Parmesan adds flavor and a crisp finish; adjust salt if cheese is particularly salty.
