A rich and creamy garlic Boursin chicken pasta bake that’s cheesy, flavorful, and perfect for cozy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
12 oz penne pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
5.2 oz Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook pasta and set aside. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add broth and Boursin cheese until melted. Stir in cream, thyme, pepper, and salt. Mix in shredded chicken and pasta. Transfer to baking dish, top with cheeses, and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
You can substitute rotisserie chicken for quicker prep. Use any short pasta if penne isn’t available. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
