Ingredients

- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen shredded hash browns
- 6 slices halal turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Optional add-ins: 2 tbsp diced green onions or 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread hash browns evenly in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle turkey bacon and half of the cheese over the hash browns.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, until set and golden on top.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Optional add-ins: 2 tablespoons diced green onions or 1/2 cup diced bell peppers.
- For a lighter version, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt.
