Description

Christmas Morning Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bake is a warm, festive breakfast casserole designed to bring the whole family together on Christmas morning with fluffy eggs, melty cheese, flaky biscuits, and crispy turkey bacon baked in a single dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Scatter the biscuit pieces evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Sprinkle chopped turkey bacon over the biscuits.
  4. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit layer.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, then top with green onions if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use regular bacon if turkey bacon isn’t available.
  • Mozzarella is optional for extra melty texture.
  • Leftovers refrigerate well for 2–3 days and can be reheated in the microwave or oven.
  • For make-ahead, assemble the casserole the night before and refrigerate; bake the next morning (add a few extra minutes if cold).
