- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Lay the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the crackers and spread gently.
- Bake for 5 minutes until bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit 2 minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
- Add sprinkles or nuts if using.
- Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until fully set.
- Break into pieces and enjoy.
