Description

This Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich is packed with juicy chicken, creamy avocado, melty cheese, and fresh tomato—grilled to golden perfection.


Ingredients

2 cooked chicken breasts, sliced

1 ripe avocado, mashed

4 slices sourdough or ciabatta bread

1 tomato, thinly sliced

4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)

2 tbsp butter, softened

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh basil or arugula (optional)


Instructions

Mash avocado with salt and pepper. Spread mayo and mustard on bread. Layer chicken, avocado, tomato, cheese, and herbs. Butter outer bread and grill until golden brown and cheese melts. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Swap sourdough for ciabatta or whole grain bread. Use mozzarella or provolone. Add bacon or red onion for more flavor. Great with chips or salad.
