- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1½ cups dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp orange zest
- 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the dried cranberries.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
