Ingredients

  • 1 lb halal smoked turkey sausage, sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, milk, melted butter, ranch seasoning, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Add the cubed potatoes and diced onion. Stir until everything is coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove from the oven, stir in the sliced halal smoked sausage, and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
