- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and season with onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add butter and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Stir in beef broth, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes; simmer.
- Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
- Add pasta to the sauce, toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use rotini or rigatoni if penne isn’t available.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
- Adjust spice level by increasing or skipping red pepper flakes.
