Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook penne pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef and season with onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add butter and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
  • Stir in beef broth, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes; simmer.
  • Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  • Add pasta to the sauce, toss to coat.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use rotini or rigatoni if penne isn’t available.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
