Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
- Fold in diced apples gently.
- Scoop batter into mounds on the baking sheet, shaping lightly if needed.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until set and lightly golden.
- Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over warm fritters.
- Let glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a crisper exterior, space fritters evenly and avoid overcrowding the sheet.
- The glaze can be thinned with more milk for a lighter drizzle.
