Description
Air Fryer Fried Pickles: Crispy, golden, and tangy— the ultimate guilt-free snack that’s perfect for game days and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup dill pickle chips (or spears, sliced thin)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Olive oil spray (for air fryer)
Instructions
- Drain the pickle chips well and pat them completely dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up perfectly.
- In one bowl, add flour. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each pickle chip in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve immediately with ranch dressing or spicy mayo for dipping.
Notes
- Pat the pickle chips dry to ensure crispiness.
- For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for 3–5 minutes.
- Pair with ranch dressing or spicy mayo for dipping.
