Air Fryer Calzones: Golden, cheesy pockets of deliciousness made in minutes!
Ingredients

- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup cooked turkey sausage or halal pepperoni, sliced
- ¼ cup chopped bell peppers or mushrooms (optional)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Olive oil spray
- Optional: marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut into 4 equal rectangles or circles.
- On one half of each piece, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, then layer cheese, turkey sausage or halal pepperoni, and any desired veggies.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, then fold over the dough and pinch edges to seal.
- Lightly spray the tops with olive oil and place in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

- Tip: For a crisper crust, chill filled calzones for 10 minutes before air frying.
